Original 1970-71 "Le Mans" Movie Document Collection
Original documents from the movie “Le Mans” were debuted at the 2018 Amelia Island Concours d”Elegance.
These 1970 papers came from Andrew Ferguson’s Collection. Ferguson was the race car manager for McQueen and the Movie Le Mans. He was also well known for being involved with Jim Clark’s career and with Team Lotus. Ferguson started the Formula 1 Constructors association. He is also famous for writing the book “Team Lotus” The Indianapolis Years which sadly would be one of his last duties before his sudden passing in the late 90’s.
The Original documents include signed driver contacts, salary requirements from Graham Hill’s representatives and original screen play sketches for the car placements. Also extensive documentation on the Solar Production Camera Car that entered the 1970 Le Mans Race plus much more.
