Earlier in his Formula 1 career, Pierre Gasly was promoted from Red Bull’s junior team, Toro Rosso, to their senior team, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. During his 2019 stint with Red Bull, he competed in 12 races and secured nine top ten finishes, with a best result of fourth place.

Later that same season, Gasly returned to Toro Rosso and achieved his first career podium at the Brazilian Grand Prix. In 2020, he continued with the team, now renamed AlphaTauri, and delivered a memorable maiden victory at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Across his Formula 1 career, Gasly has collected 1 win and 5 podiums.
