2021 Yuki Tsunoda Mexico & Qatar GP Race Used AlphaTauri F1 Helmet
This beautiful Yuki Tsunoda race-used Aria helmet has quite a race history associated with it. The helmet first appeared in Mexico during qualifying (9th) and then used again in the Mexican Grand Prix (DNF, accident). The helmet was then worn during qualifying in Brazil (12th). The helmet's next appearance was in Qatar during Friday practice and in the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday (13th). Then it was off to Saudi Arabia where it is was used in Friday practice and again during qualifying (8th).
In 2020 Tsunoda, the 2018 Japanese F4 Champion, was driving for Carlin in F2 and with 3 wins, finished 3rd in the Championship.
Tsunoda had a strong rookie season in 2021 with 7 top-ten finishes, one of those being a well-earned 9th place at the Bahrain GP, his debut race. He would score a brilliant 4th place finish at the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi, and was duly named the FIA Rookie-of-the-Year.
The helmet has been signed on the crown in black marker pen by Tsunoda.
