2021 Mick Schumacher Signed Schuberth 04/47 Limited Edition Haas F1 helmet
This stunning Schuberth helmet is a full-scale carbon replica of the one Mick Schumacher wore during the 2021 Formula 1 season. The only difference is this helmet is made with fewer layers of carbon fibre so it does not meet homologation requirements for race use. The helmet is painted by the legendary Jens Munser (JM Designs), the same artist who paints Mick's race helmets. The helmet is #04 out of only 47 made, and has been signed by Mick in silver marker pen on the visor. The helmet comes with a beautiful booklet depicting the creation of the helmet from start to finish, with a carbon fiber number plaque in the back.
Mick Schumacher began his career in karting in 2008, progressing to the German ADAC Formula 4 by 2015. After winning the 2018 FIA F3 European Championship, Schumacher progressed to Formula 2 in 2019, and won the Formula 2 Championship the following year in 2020. He is the son of seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher and nephew of Ralf Schumacher.
Schumacher drove for the Team Haas in 2021 after signing a multi-year contract, alongside Nikita Mazepin, with whom he had also raced in go-karts. He chose to race with the number 47 as his two favorite numbers, 4 and 7, were already taken. After the Formula One season finale in Abu Dhabi, Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto said that after a “very difficult” first season at Haas, he believed Schumacher could drive for Ferrari as early as the 2023 season. Schumacher is set to remain with Haas for the 2022 season and will also be a reserve driver for Ferrari alongside Antonio Giovinazzi.
The helmet comes with an official JMD Certificate signed by Munser himself, as well as having an HOFC Certificate Of Authenticity.
