Swiss-born French driver Romain Grosjean found success at every level of his racing career, including winning the 2011 GP2 Championship, before going on to spend nine seasons in Formula 1. In his final F1 start at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, Grosjean survived a major crash, and it has been well documented that the halo and advances in race suit technology played a critical role in saving his life. During his time with Renault, Lotus, and Haas F1, Romain made 179 starts and collected 10 podium finishes.
Romain has since moved to the IndyCar Series, where he races the No. 18 for Dale Coyne Racing. Since making his IndyCar debut, he has earned 6 podiums and 3 pole positions.
