2018 Kimi Raikkonen Scuderia Ferrari Official Bell Replica F1 Helmet
This helmet is the official Bell replica of the one worn by Kimi Räikkönen during the 2018 F1 season while driving for Scuderia Ferrari.
Kimi Räikkönen, nicknamed “The Iceman,” is a Finnish racing driver who finished his Formula One career in 2021 driving for Alfa Romeo Racing.
Räikkönen won the 2007 Formula One World Championship driving for Scuderia Ferrari. In addition to this title, he finished second overall in 2003 and 2005, and third in 2008, 2012 and 2018. With 103 podium finishes, he is one of only five drivers to have taken over 100 podiums.
Räikkönen has won 21 Grands Prix, making him the most successful Finnish driver in terms of F1 race wins, and is the only driver to have won in the V10, V8 and the V6 turbo hybrid engine eras.
In September of 2018, it was announced that Räikkönen would leave Ferrari at the end of the season to rejoin Sauber on a two-year contract, the team he made his F1 debut with in 2001. The Sauber team was renamed Alfa Romeo Racing prior to the start of the 2019 season.
Räikkönen had an impressive first half of the season, scoring 31 points before the summer break, placing him eighth in the Drivers’ Championship after 12 races. However, after the summer break, the Alfa Romeo Racing C38 struggled for pace and Räikkönen endured a seven-race pointless streak. The streak ended at the Brazilian Grand Prix, where a strong race and a penalty for Lewis Hamilton yielded a fourth-place finish, the first top-four finish for the Swiss-based team since 2013. Räikkönen finished 12th in the Drivers’ Championship with 43 points, which, again, was the best result for a driver of the Swiss-based team since 2013.
