Race-used Arai GP-6 RC helmet worn by Max Chilton during the 2016 Go Pro Grand Prix of Sonoma. Chilton joined IndyCar in 2016 driving for Chip Ganassi Racing. Prior to IndyCar, Chilton competed in Formula One, driving for Marussia F1 in 2013 and 2014. In 2012, he raced in the GP2 series for Marussia-backed Carlin Motorsport. He currently drives for Carlin Racing in IndyCar.

This one-off helmet was specially designed for Chilton by watch manufacturer Armin Strom and painted by JLF Designs. Strom is well-known for their unique timepieces and avant-garde transparent mechanics, hence the watch movement motif on the top and the back of the helmet. The helmet shows signs of race wear and still has tear-offs attached to the visor, as well as having the Hats-Off device and original HANS clips on it.

The helmet is signed by Chilton on the chin as well as having his race #8.

The helmet comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
