Set of used leathers from the 2015 Championship winning season worn by five-time World Champion Jorge Lorenzo.

The Spanish rider won the 250cc Championship in 2006 & 2007 and then would go on to win the MotoGP Championship in 2010, 2012, & 2015.

These scarred Movistar Yamaha Alpinestars leathers were worn during the 2015 MotoGP World Championship. These were the leathers that were worn at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where Lorenzo crashed in the warm-up session ahead of the Indianapolis Grand Prix race. Entering a left-hand turn, he lost grip at the rear wheel and wobbled violently. The Mallorcan was extremely lucky, as he managed to hold on to the bike despite the brutal shaking, with the whole incident ending up with a low-side crash. Fortunately Lorenzo avoided injury, picked himself up and managed to notch a second place finish in the race. He would score seven wins and five other podium finishes during the season, to claim his third MotoGP title.

This is a very rare opportunity to own this set of Jorge Lorenzo race-used and well-documented leathers. Lorenzo is himself an enthusiastic collector of racing memorabilia and rarely let’s any of his equipment go onto the open market.

The leathers come with full Certificate Of Authenticity and have been personally signed and race documented by Jorge Lorenzo.
