The French born driver finished 8th place that day with Tony Kanaan taking the victory. Pagenaud would go on to become IndyCar Champion in 2016 and win the 2019 Indianapolis 500 for Team Penske. He currently is one of the top IndyCar drivers and has 15 career wins, 36 podiums and 14 poles to date.
