2011 Tony Stewart Race Used Stewart-Haas Racing NASCAR Cup Championship Helmet
Helmet worn by one of the true modern-day legends of American motorsport Tony Stewart. The helmet was used by the multi-times champion and team owner on his way to winning the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. It was race-worn (and photo matched) at the 2011 Coke Zero 400 held at the Daytona International Speedway. "Smoke" drove his joint-owned Stewart-Haas Racing Berger King sponsored Chevy Impala to an eleventh place finish. Tony would go on to score five wins that season as he captured his third Sprint Cup Championship by seasons end.
This spectacular helmet sports a Nick Pastura Motorsports paint design that has a pearl white base color overlaid with blue airbrushed scalloped ‘hot rod’ flames that are edged in gold. Interspersed among these are various skull images. There's a three-paneled band running from the rear to either side, again edged in blue and gold, with more ‘hot rod’ flames and Stewart’s’ Smoke’ nickname on either side. The team sponsor's Berger King logo decal is on the chin. The top front has a Stewart-Haas Racing decal and, just above this, Tony Stewart has personally signed and dated the helmet. The visor carries an Office Depot/BergerKing/Mobile 1 sun strip and comes as last used by Stewart with all original fittings still installed, including its radio, Nomex neck protector and the Hans clip fixings.
