2011 Fernando Alonso Signed Australian GP Used Ferrari F1 Helmet
This SF1 Schuberth helmet was worn by Fernando Alonso during the 2011 Formula 1 season while driving for the iconic Ferrari team. This exact helmet has been photo matched to one of his first helmets used during the 2011 season. It was spotted at the Australian Grand Prix weekend when the drivers first revealed their helmet designs for the season, and he then used it in the lead up to race day in Australia.
Alonso is best known for winning back to back Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championships with Renault in 2005 and 2006. He won seven races in each of those seasons, for a total of 17 victories with the team. The Spaniard originally made his Formula 1 debut in 2001 with Minardi and went on to score his first pole position in his second season with Renault in 2003 at the Malaysian Grand Prix. His first victory came later that same year at the Hungarian Grand Prix, while his most recent Formula 1 win came at his home race in Catalunya in 2013 with Scuderia Ferrari.
Alonso won 11 Formula 1 races while driving for Ferrari and another 4 with McLaren, giving him a total of 32 career victories. His natural talent and ability to adapt across different teams and eras have continued to define his career, including his time with the Aston Martin Formula 1 team.
The helmet has been signed by Alonso on the side. This helmet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
