2009 Jenson Button World Championship Replica Brawn GP F1 Helmet
The 2009 season was one like no other before it. The former Honda team, pulled out of F1 after the 2008 season after success continued to elude them, was sold to Ross Brawn for £1. Ross Brawn continued on where Honda left off. Brawn was one of 3 teams to use a double diffuser which ended of giving the car a massive performance advantage. They started the season with a 1-2 finish in first race in Australia and never looked back. In the second half of the season, other teams began to close the gap, but Brawn GP had already built enough of an advantage to become the first team to win the FIA Formula One World Constructors’ Championship in its debut season. That success continued by Jenson Button winning the FIA Formula One World Drivers’ Championship, the first and only F1 title of his career.
This beautiful replica on a real Bell HP3 makes a great addition to your collection to mark that very special season.
The helmet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
