2007 This Tomas Scheckter special one off "Rock and Republic" design Arai helmet was used by the South African at several races that season. This helmet can be seen at the Indy 500 and also Texas where Scheckter had the famous incident which resulted in him throwing his gloves at Marco Andretti. The two drivers ironically are still good friends.

The helmet also has some Hollywood to it as it can be seen in the movie Transformers with Megan Fox putting on the helmet.

Tomas had a long career and is the only South African in IndyCar history to win races.
