2007 Robert Kubica Race Used Canadian GP Crash BMW Sauber F1 Suit

An incredible opportunity to own the suit from one of the most intense accidents in modern F1 history. In the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix on lap 26, Robert Kubica attempted a pass going it to the hairpin and touched the back of Jarno Trulli's car. This forced Kubica's car onto the grassy track edge where a bump launched his car the concrete wall. This resulted in ripping off the car's three wheels, the nose and side pod before digging into the grass causing the car to flip and barrel roll across the track where it ended up on it's side against the outside barrier. Surprisingly Kubica only suffered a concussion and sprained ankle. After sitting out just one race, he was back in action in France and raced to a 4th place finish. Kubica would finish the season in 6th overall in the World Drivers Championship.

After the crash the suit was cut from Kubica by the medics, the suit has been sown up along those original cut lines. The suit was given to one of the hospital staff that day and remained in his private collection until we obtained it.

In what would seem straight from a movie script, Kubica would come back to Canada in 2008 to win his one and only F1 race, what a comeback!
