2007 Jenson Button Signed Race Used US Grand Prix Honda F1 Helmet
Jenson Button wore this helmet at the 2007 US Grand Prix held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The helmet also bears a Goodwood tech sticker from 2007 where Jenson wore the helmet during the events held at Goodwood. Jenson signed the helmet in 2018 (noted) and noted USA 2007 on it as well.
2008 looked like it might have been Button's last season in F1, when Honda announced they were leaving F1 at season's end and Button hadn't signed with another team. Ross Brawn purchased Honda and formed Brawn GP and retained Button. This proved to be a great move for both Brawn and Button as Button would go on to win the first 6 of 7 races and would go on to capture the 2009 World Championship with Brawn GP F1 Team. The next season Mercedes bought out Brawn, which in turn would form the Mercedes team that has been so successful these past years.
Button retired in 2016 (came back for 1 gp in 2017 Monaco GP) ending up with 1 World Driver's Championship, 15 wins, 50 podiums, 8 poles and 8 fastest laps.
