2003 Michael Schumacher Championship Season Australian GP Race Used Scuderia Ferrari F1 Suit
Heading into the 2003 season, Ferrari was once again the team to beat, having won the previous four Constructors’ Championships, led primarily by the dominance of Michael Schumacher.
The season began at the Australian Grand Prix, where Schumacher placed his Ferrari on pole position. He led for the majority of the race before sustaining damage after taking too much curb. Schumacher was shown the black and orange flag, forcing him to pit for repairs. He ultimately recovered to finish fourth behind Kimi Räikkönen, narrowly missing the podium for the first time since the 2001 Italian Grand Prix. The result also ended Ferrari’s remarkable podium streak, which had stretched back to the 1999 European Grand Prix.
This suit has been matched to the 2003 Australian Grand Prix and is signed by Michael Schumacher in blue marker above the main Marlboro patch. Presented in Ferrari’s iconic red color scheme with Marlboro branding, it represents Schumacher’s record breaking sixth World Championship season and features everything collectors look for in race used Schumacher suit.
The suit comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
