2007 Tomas Scheckter Vision Racing IndyCar Helmet
Arai racing helmet worn by Tomas Schekter during the 2007 IndyCar season. The helmet was painted by Corby Concepts for Tomas Scheckter and used during the 2007 IndyCar season while driving for Vision Racing. Scheckter's consistency throughout the season and a seventh place finish at Indianapolis led to a third straight top ten finish in the final points standings.
The white base color features a black and white checker crown. Through its middle, there's a wide black band running around the chin and eye-port extending to the sides where it meets red and blue panels that run around the back of the helmet. All of these are edged with a thin fluorescent yellow band and Scheckter’s name is on both cheeks. The helmet has an all matte finish and still retains both of its IndyCar tech stickers and is in nearly new condition. The exact race history and usage of the helmet are unknown but, at a very affordable price, it's still a great addition to anyone's memorabilia collection.
