2002 Michael Schumacher Signed Used Scuderia Ferrari F1 Helmet R-MS 055/16/02

Schuberth records indicate that this helmet was worn during the European and French Grand Prix and was used as a spare helmet at Silverstone.

Schumacher went on to win the French Grand Prix and finished second at the European Grand Prix, making this helmet not only a part of Ferrari team history, but also a part of Schumacher’s dominance in Formula 1. After the Silverstone race weekend, the helmet was refurbished and rebranded to Marlboro specification, with the tobacco decals applied over the clear coat, and was later used during testing.

Although it is no longer in its original race winning specification, having later been converted to Marlboro spec, its history and significance remain outstanding. From Michael Schumacher’s fifth World Championship season, this race winning helmet is a truly exceptional piece for any Formula 1 collection.

The helmet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and has been hand signed on the visor by Schumacher.
