2000 Eddie Irvine Race Used Jaguar Racing F1 OMP Suit
After just missing out on the 1999 Formula 1 World Championship title with Ferrari by just two points. Irish driver Eddie Irving was hired by Jaguar Racing to spearhead the newly formed teams challenge for the 2000 F1 season. It was a difficult season for the fledgling team but Irvine managed to score points in half of the races in the sixteen event season.
This OMP suit was one used by Irvine during his debut season with the team. The ‘British Racing Green’ suit has wide white stripes running down the outside of each leg, within these are ‘Jaguar Racing.com’ lettering. Around the midriff is a white band with a top red edge that has the team’s major sponsor HSBC Banking branding through the middle. The suits white collar also has HSBC branding. To both chest and arms are many other sponsor/suppliers branding logos that include DHL, Beck’s, Worldcom, and HP to name just a few. The back of the suit has a large ‘pouncing Jaguar’ image along with the Jaguar Racing lettering. Irvine’s name is embroidered in white to the waist belt.
The suit comes with a full Certificate of Authenticity.
