After just missing out on the 1999 Formula 1 World Championship title with Ferrari by just two points, Irish driver, Eddie Irvine was hired by Jaguar Racing to spearhead the newly formed teams challenge for the 2000 F1 season. It was a difficult season for the fledgling team but Irvine managed to score points in half of the races in the sixteen event season.

These black and grey gloves OMP gloves were used by Irvine during his debut season with the team. Irvine has signed both of the gloves in black marker across the grey suede knuckles.
