1991 Scott Pruett Signed Race Used Visor on Replica Truesports IndyCar Helmet
Pruett drove for Patrick Racing for a total of 4 years and usually made the top ten in the CART Series Championship. In 1995, he was in contention for the Indy 500 until crashing late with 18 to go, having briefly led the race in the later stages. Pruett would soon win his first CART race at the 1995 Michigan 500 by beating Al Unser Jr by .56 seconds. His best CART career championship finish was in 1998 finishing sixth in points with three podium finishes and one pole position.
Pruett would go on to have a long career capturing 5 overall wins at the Rolex 24 plus an overall and class win at the Sebring 12 hours. He also won in class at Le Mans and was a series champion in Trans Am (3 times), Rolex Grand Am Series (5 times) and IMSA GTO Champion (twice).
His helmets almost never come up for sale so this replica Simpson helmet will be a great piece for someone to add a colorful Pruett helmet to their collection.
The replica helmet comes with a race used visor signed in gold pen. The helmet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
