1999 Jean Alesi Original Bieffe Replica Sauber F1 Helmet
A fantastic looking Jean Alesi original Bieffe GR 1600 factory limited edition replica helmet. Produced to represent helmets worn by Alesi while driving for the Red Bull Sauber Petronas Team during the 1999 Formula 1 season.
This sharp looking helmet's silver base colour has red and black angled stripes that run up both sides to return around the back and meet in points. These have Alesi’s name picked out in silver lettering and replicate Alesi's hero Elio de Angelis who had an almost identical helmet design. On the crown of the helmet is a teardrop design that has smaller blue graphic teardrops airbrushed onto a darker blue background. Just below this is Play Station branding lettering encircling both sides. On the top front is the Petronas company logo, and the helmet's clear visor has a Petronas sun visor strip applied.
These Bieffe replicas were made by the manufacturer in the same time period that the drivers were racing and were fully Snell certified and with nomex interior so they were ready to be worn for racing. This example is in near brand new condition and has never been worn. A great example to add to your F1 helmet collection.
