1999 Jacques Villeveuve, worn 'Grand Prix the Movie' promotional helmet
This Bell Mag 4 openface helmet was used by Jacques Villeveuve during a 1999 promotional event at Monza in Italy. BAR Lucky Strike Racing (Villeneuve team owners) recreated scenes from the filming of the legendary 1966 film “Grand Prix” that started James Garner. Both Garner and Villeveuve drove vintage race cars around the famous old track and recreated scenes from the racing movie. The helmet was painted by Bell S.P.O.R.T.S. Europe and is in Jacques’ iconic ‘V’ design colors.
The helmet comes from Jacques Villeneuve personal collection and he has personally signed the helmet strap. It comes with a full Certificate of Authenticity.
