1999 Emanuele Pirro Signed Race Used Audi Le Mans Suit
Sparco race suit worn by Italian race driver Emanuele Pirro. The former F1 driver was also a two-time Italian Karting Champion and a multiple race winner in ETCC, WTCC, Italian Supertouring and DTM.
He wore the suit during the 1999 season, where Pirro joined the new Audi Sportscar project. It turned out to be a good fit, as Pirro and Audi excelled together, winning several classic events with the all-conquering R8. This suit was also used at Le Mans that year where Pirro finished third. He became one of the super trio of Endurance Sportscar drivers along with Tom Kristensen and Frank Biela as they dominated Endurance Sportscar racing with Audi for almost ten years. This included a record three victories in a row at Le Mans with the same three aforementioned drivers, a feat that will likely never to be repeated again.
Pirro is a five-time Le Mans 24h winner, two-time ALMS winner, two-time 12h of Sebring winner and three-time Petite Le Mans winner.
The suit is personally signed by Pirro and comes with a Certificate Of Authentication.
