1999 Eddie Irvine Signed Race Austria GP Race Winning Scuderia Ferrari F1 Helmet Suit Boots Gloves Full Nomex
Incredibly rare, complete race-winning kit worn by Eddie Irvine during the 1999 Austrian Grand Prix, which he won. The kit includes a signed helmet, signed suit, signed gloves and boots, as well as a full Nomex kit consisting of balaclava, shirt, pants and even the socks. The helmet has tear-offs and drink tube still installed, just as it would have been last used. As mentioned, the spectacular Bieffe helmet has been signed by Irvine and is noted with 'Austria' and '99' by him as well. The Sabelt Racing race suit is also signed, noting the race location and year as well. One of the Sabelt Racing gloves is signed by Irvine on the palm, and the red suede Sabelt Racing boots show nice race wear.
Irvine competed in Formula One between 1993 and 2002, and finished runner-up in the 1999 World Drivers' Championship, while driving for Scuderia Ferrari. At the final race of the season in Japan, Irvine struggled in qualifying and crashed heavily, managing only fifth place; in the race he finished third, behind Schumacher in second, and race winner Häkkinen. Irvine lost the Drivers' Championship to Häkkinen by just 2 points, but Irvine's efforts during the season helped Ferrari to clinch their first World Constructors' Championship in 16 years. The Eddie Irvine kit comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
