Sharp looking Sparco Fina-sponsored BMW Motorsport suit worn by Danish prototype endurance racing driver Tom Kristensen. He is considered by many to be the greatest driver ever to have raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He holds the record for the most wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with nine, six of which were consecutive (from 2000 to 2005). Kristensen also holds the record for most wins at the 12 Hours of Sebring with a total of six and was crowned World Endurance Champion in 2013.

His career began in 1984, winning several karting titles along the way. The early 1990s saw him racing in Japan competing in both Formula 3 and Touring Cars events. He was German Formula 3 Champion in 1991, Japanese Formula 3 champion in 1993, and runner-up in the Japanese Touring Car Championship (JTCC) in 1992 and 1994. He drove in Formula 3000 in both 1996 and 1997 and was a test driver for Tyrrell Racing in their final Formula One season. He would also drive and score victories in the German and British Touring Car Championships.

This suit was one worn by Tom Kristensen during the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans. He was teamed up with co-drivers Hans-Joachim Stuck and Steve Soper to drive a BMW V12 LM which would be making its debut at the race. Testing proved difficult due to technical issues, but by the time qualifying for the race came around BMW had ironed out many of the problems to qualify in 6th position. Unfortunately, more engine issues saw both BMW Motorsports entries retire during the race.

The white suit has a blue band on the upper front torso within which team sponsor Fina Oil’s branding logos and lettering are printed. The left-arm has the BMW double blue & red color checkers on its forearm and, above this, a BMW emblem. The chest has embroidered BMW Motorsports/Parts lettering. Across the upper back is Kristensen's name overlaid with BMW Motorsports lettering, Kristensen name is also embroidered onto the waist belt.

This is a great opportunity to acquire a race-used suit worn by the all-time greatest sportscar driver.

The suit comes with a full Certificate Of Authenticity.
