Jacques Villeneuve won his 3rd race of the season from pole at the 1997 Spanish Grand Prix putting him back in the lead of the 1997 Drivers' Championship. The podium was rounded out by Villeneuve's good friend, Olivier Panis, in second place and with Jean Alesi taking the 3rd step. The Canadian went on to win the World Championship that year in exciting fashion, with the Championship famously going right down to the wire after an intense battle with Ferrari's Michael Schumacher.

This celebratory Moet champagne bottle was the Constructors winning bottle and is signed by Villeneuve in black marker pen on the label.
