1997 Alex Zanardi Signed Championship Season Used IndyCar Helmet

This Simpson helmet was worn by Alex Zanardi during the 1997 season while competing for the Chip Ganassi Racing Team. That year marked a dominant campaign for Zanardi, as he secured 5 victories and 7 podium finishes across 17 races. He ended the season with a total of 195 points, winning the championship by a margin of 33 points. But this was only the start of his IndyCar supremacy. Zanardi continued his reign with another year of complete domination in 1998. Over the course of 19 races, he racked up 7 wins and an impressive 15 podium finishes.
