Hall of fame Collection has been able to obtain the only five double signed Artist Proof* prints produced of the Robbie Buhl ‘at speed’ limited edition Lithograph art prints. The image taken from Ron’s original commissioned artwork depicts a scene from the 81st running of the Indianapolis 500 in 1997. With American driver and former 1992, Indy Lights Champion Buhl piloting his Team Menard/Quaker State Oldsmobile powered G-Force entry. The abstract style image captures the speed and action of Buel’s machine as it hurtles down one of the iconic track straightaways. Later in the year, Buhl would take a victory driving this car at the 1997 Pennzoil 200, Indy Racing League race in New Hampshire. What makes these five more unique from all other editions of the print is they have been personally signed by both Robbie Buhl and artist Ron Burton who has also added an AP* number to each print. The print also has a text description and embossed winged wheel and year date in its surrounding border and is printed on 25 x 12 inch (63 x 30 cm) heavy cardstock art paper.

*An artist proof is usually a trial print checked to see the current state of a print while it is still in the printing process by the artist and it is usually these prints that are held by the artist to keep. In general, you can assume that a print that is marked as AP has the same impression quality as the rest of the edition.

Hall of fame Collection has exclusively managed to obtain these prints to offer them to our clientele. These signed prints as stated are in a small limited quantity so we advise ordering as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
