1996 Johnny Parsons Jr. Signed Race Used Indy 500 Bell Helmet
Original race-used Bell helmet worn by former Indy 500 and Sprint Car driver Johnny Parsons Jr.
Parsons had this unique white with blue & red stripes color scheme on his IndyCar helmets and on his dirt helmets, he used the "Getting Dirty" brown design.
Parsons started twelve Indianapolis 500 races, with his last Indy 500 start coming in the 1996 race. His best finish was fifth in 1977 and in 1985 as well. His father, Johnnie Parsons Sr., won the Indianapolis 500 in 1950.
Parsons finished second in the 1977 USAC National points standings, and also finished second twice in USAC Championship dirt cars.
Parsons won 29 Midget Car features including major wins in the 4-Crown Nationals Midget race feature twice, the 1979 Hut Hundred, and the 1986 Copper World Classic Midget feature. He has won two Silver Crown and five Sprint Car features.
The helmet comes hand-signed by Parsons and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
