1996 Jeff Krosnoff Signed Race Used Bell Feuling Arciero-Wells Racing CART Series Helmet
Original Bell Feuling SS helmet from the 1996 CART Season worn by American driver Jeff Krosnoff.
Krosnoff grew up in California and at the age of 23 made a move to Japan where he started his racing career and would stay for 9 seasons. He also competed three times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the competitive Jaguar and Toyota teams, winning in class (second overall) in 1994. Toyota continued to support Krosnoff as he made the big jump into American racing in the 1996 season competing for the Arciero-Wells Racing Team in the highly competitive CART Series. This is the helmet used by him during that rookie season and shows good use, likely from oval racing, and has been signed and dated in white paint pen on the visor.
Not only is the helmet model stunning, the driver's helmet design is one of the most attractive and recognizable helmet designs of 1990's, Krosnoff's purple helmet colour compliments the white angel wings that flow down the sides of the helmet. The helmet was hand-painted with the No Fear, the Toyota logo and a USA flag on it and with MCI, Bell and Racer sponsor logos applied on top as a decals. What's unique about this helmet is that it's most likely the only signed, race-used IndyCar helmet in the collectors world from Krosnoff as sadly he lost his life after a tragic accident in the 11th round of that 1996 rookie season.
If you would like this helmet for your collection, do not hesitate to order it as it will likely sell fast.
