1994 Nigel Mansell Long Beach Grand Prix 2nd Place IndyCar Trophy
needs dimensions. Trophy won by Nigel Mansell for his second place finish in the 1994 Grand Prix of Long Beach. Mansell, who was at the time the reigning F1 Drivers’ Champion, would also go on to win the CART IndyCar World Series in 1993. He became the first driver to win the CART title in his debut season, making him the only driver to hold both the F1 World Drivers’ Championship and the American open-wheel National Championship simultaneously. In fact, at the season opener at Surfers Paradise, Australia, Mansell became the first “rookie” to take pole position and win in his first race. In 1994 he would drive both a full season in IndyCar and 4 races in F1. The trophy comes straight from Nigel Mansell's personal collection, the next collection it features in could be your collection! This very rare collectable comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
