The 1994 season was an unforgettable year for Michael Schumacher, as he dominated the grid and finished every race he completed in either 1st place, eight times, or 2nd place, twice. Despite his incredible performance throughout the season, the championship was decided in a dramatic final race in Adelaide, Australia, where Schumacher clinched the title by just a single point being one of the closest championships in F1 history.

At the Japanese GP, Schumacher started from pole and went on to finish 2nd in the race. This pole position was Schumacher’s 6th and final pole of the 1994 season.
