1993 Nigel Mansell Race Used Newman Haas Racing Championship Season IndyCar Suit

This suit was worn during the 1993 IndyCar season where Mansell would win the PPG Cup to become the reigning F1 (1992) and IndyCar (1993) Champion at the same time.

Mansell, who was at the time the reigning F1 Drivers’ Champion, would also go on to win the CART IndyCar World Series in 1993. He became the first driver to win the CART title in his debut season, making him the only driver to hold both the F1 World Drivers’ Championship and the American open-wheel National Championship simultaneously. In fact, at the season opener at Surfers Paradise, Australia, Mansell became the first “rookie” to take pole position and win in his first race.

This suit is an important part of Mansell history and came directly from his personal collection.
