1991 John Andretti Second Place Miller Genuine Draft 200 Andretti Trifecta IndyCar Trophy
Second place trophy awarded to John Andretti in the 1991 Miller Genuine Draft 200 race during the Milwaukee IndyFest.
During the race Michael Andretti beat cousin John by 22.48 seconds to win the 1991 Miller 200 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Speedway in Milwaukee. Michael Andretti's father, Mario, finished a lap behind in third place. And the fourth Andretti in the race, Michael's younger brother, Jeff, was 11th.
"I've said it before, but this is what dreams are made of," Mario said of the Andretti trifecta. "The odds against something like this must be enormous."
In 1991 John Andretti won the only race of his CART career, the Gold Coast Grand Prix in Surfer's Paradise, Australia. He also finished a career-best fifth in the 1991 Indianapolis 500.
The trophy comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
