1990 Nigel Mansell Race Used USA / Brazil / Monaco Grand Prix Scuderia Ferrari F1 Helmet

A very iconic helmet worn by F1 World Champion Nigel Mansell during the 1990 F1 Season while driving for Scuderia Ferrari. The helmet was the first one used that season. It was seen used at the opening round at the US GP, then in Brazil GP where he finished 4th, the helmet then saw action again in Monaco.

Mansell is one of the all time greats driving in an era which featured amazing champions and rivalries in particular with Senna, Alain Prost and Nelson Piquet. Considering he was racing at the same time as these greats, it's pretty amazing that he finished his career with 31 Grand Prix victories, 32 poles, 30 fastest laps and 59 podiums.

After winning the 1992 F1 World Championship, he switched to IndyCar where he became the only driver in history to win back to back Championships in both F1 and IndyCar.

This helmet came direct from Nigel Mansell's personal collection and is still fitted with the original visor, radio, air tube, d rings and comes exactly as it was last used for the legendary Scuderia Ferrari team.
