Race suit worn by former British racing driver David Hobbs. His career spanned over thirty years and Hobbs was involved in many disciplines including Sports Cars, Touring Cars, IndyCar, IMSA, Can-Am and Formula One. He participated in the Indianapolis 500 and in the 24 Hours of Daytona, and made a total of twenty starts in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and scored three class wins. After he retired from competitive racing he became a media pundit and has commentated on all forms of motor sport.

This Advanced Wear and Safety suit was worn by Hobbs in 1990 during the World Sports Prototype Championship Fuji Film Cup at the Suzuka circuit in Japan. He was teamed up with French driver Philippe de Henning to drive the DIANETICS/Lucas sponsored Ford-powered Spice SE90C. This was the only time Hobbs drove for this particular team.

The yellow suit has a thick red band running around the torso and arms, at chest level. It also has red trim on the arm and ankle cuffs. Hobbs's name and blood type group are embroidered on the left chest, as well as having AWS patches on the right chest and arms.

David Hobbs has personally signed the suit and is accompanied by a full Certificate Of Authenticity.
