1987 Enzo Ferrari Signed Original Ferrari Factory Card
An original signed Ferrari factory paper card personally hand-signed by racing driver, entrepreneur, founder of the Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix motor racing team, and subsequently of the Ferrari automobile marquee, the late great Enzo Ferrari.
This rare cream-colored 6 x 4 inch (15 x 10 cm) card came from Enzo’s office in Maranello, Italy. It has the Ferrari ‘Prancing Horse’ emblem on the top left corner and an inscription typed by Enzo’s personal secretary Brenda Vernor that reads ‘gentile presidente la ringrazio dei graditi omaggi e cordialmente la saluto’ (translated ‘kind president thank you for the welcome gifts and cordial greetings to you’). The card was signed by the "il Grande Vecchio" (the Great Old Man) in Enzo’s customary purple ink. The card is dated the 22nd April 1987, approximately a year before Enzo’s passing. The back of the card is blank and it is in excellent condition with no tears, folds, creases, or marks of any kind.
