1987 Emerson Fittipaldi Signed Race Used Patrick Racing March 87C IndyCar Front Wing
Front wing component from Emerson Fittipaldi's Patrick Racing March 87C, used while competing in the 1987 PPG CART IndyCar Championship, where 'Emmo' would register two wins.
This wing (mainplane and endplate) aerodynamic component formed the bottom half of the front wing set up. They would have been bolted to the front of the car and have adjusting holes for the smaller main flaps that would have been adjusted to improve the flow of air, depending on the particular track.
These pieces were used during the season at road/street course tracks. They have been photo-matched to appearing on Fittipaldi's car during the Budweiser/G.I. Joe 200 in Portland (see pictures). All pieces are painted in white, with the mainplane having the Goodyear logo on the top and chip tape applied to the front edges. It also has a body bracket fixed to both inside edges. The endplates have all relevant bolt holes and both have been personally signed with a beautiful signature by former Formula One, IndyCar Champion and two-time Indy 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi.
