1985 A.J Foyt Race Worn Gilmore Racing Indy 500 Suit

Foyt has won the Indianapolis 500 four times, in 1961, 1964, 1967 and 1977, and is the first driver to have done so. The feat has since been matched by Al Unser (1970, 1971, 1978, 1987); Rick Mears (1979, 1984, 1988, 1991); and Helio Castroneves (2001, 2002, 2009, and 2021). Of his 67 career Championship Car race victories (most all time), twelve were won at the Trenton Speedway. Foyt has also won the IndyCar Series seven times, a record that still stands to this day. Foyt qualified for the Indy 500 an amazing 35 times consecutively.
