Rare race-used BELL Sportscar helmet worn by American Hurley Haywood during the 1980s. Hurley has won multiple events during his long and very successful sportscar racing career, including five overall victories at the Rolex 24 at Daytona (1973, 1975, 1977, 1979, and 1991), three at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (1977, 1983, 1994), and two at the 12 Hours of Sebring (1973, 1981). He is credited with the 1988 Trans-Am title, two IMSA GT Championship titles and 23 wins, three Norelco Cup championships, a SuperCar title and 18 IndyCar starts. He also represented IMSA four times in the International Race of Champions (1986, 1989, 1992, 1995).

The helmet has a white base with alternating horizontal bands in teal blue and yellow edged in silver. The helmet is also covered in pink and teal blue 'bubbles' throughout. 'Hurley Haywood' is painted on both sides of the helmet within the yellow and teal bands.

This helmet was used sometime in the mid 1980's where Hurley used the full face with open visor style helmets. Hurley Haywood memorabilia is very rare and almost never comes up for sale so don't miss out on this rare opportunity today.

The helmet comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
