1980 Alain Prost Rookie Season Used McLaren F1 Suit

A true piece of Formula One history, this suit was used by four-time World Champion Alain Prost during his debut season in 1980 with Marlboro Team McLaren. Prost showed early signs of the success that would follow, finishing inside the top six in each of his first two Grands Prix in Argentina and Brazil. His first Formula One victory came the following season at his home race, the 1981 French Grand Prix. After finishing runner-up in the World Championship in both 1983 and 1984, Prost finally captured his first title the following year. 

Prost won Championship in 1985, 1986, 1989 and his final title in 1993. A remarkable career that spanned 199 race starts, with podiums in over half of the races at 106 podiums, 51 of them wins, with 33 poles and 41 fastest laps.

This is a beautiful piece of motorsport history, of one of F1's greatest drivers, would make a fantastic addition to anyone's F1 collection.
