1977-84 George Snider Signed Race Used Midget / IndyCar Helmet
This classic Bell helmet was worn by George Snider at various points during the most successful portion of his career. Between 1977 and 1984 Snider earned the USAC Championship Car title in 1981-1982 season and collected his first win as the Springfield Mile.
George Snider is a 22-time starter of the Indy 500, making him the driver with the most starts without a win in the great race with his best finish being eighth in the 1975 Indianapolis 500. He is also the 1971 USAC Silver Crown champion and a 2021 Inductee of the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame.
The helmet is hand-signed with silver marker on the visor and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
