These Team Tyrrell boots were worn by the 1979 World Champion, Jody Scheckter, during the 1976 Formula 1 season. It was a highly competitive year for Scheckter, who collected five podiums and one victory at the Swedish Grand Prix. Only a few years after these boots were worn, Scheckter went on to capture his first and only Formula 1 World Championship.
