1976 Johnny Rutherford Indy 500 Turn One Ron Burton Limited Edition 20 x 30 Print
We have been able to acquire a quantity of these rare Limited Edition Ron Burton screen printed art prints. This print depicts the start of the 1976 Indianapolis 500. It shows the front row of Johnny Rutherford, Gordon Johncock and Tom Sneva leading the field going into turn one at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Rutherford would go on to win the rain-shortened race when USAC officials called the race at the completion of lap 102, completing only 255 miles (410 km). This made the 1976 race the shortest official Indy 500 race on record.
This print is on heavy art paper and its dimensions are 30 x 20 inches.
These prints are very rare as there was only a limited edition run of 300 made available, all of which have been signed and numbered by the famed Indianapolis artist Ron Burton.
The print comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
