1975 Bill Marvel Senior Stock Car Race Used Helmet
Helmet used by Bill Marvel Senior, better known as being the father of popular Sprint Car drivers Brad and the late Billy Marvel Jr.. Marvel Sr. raced for a short period himself during the 70’s, and this is when this helmet would have been used while driving stock cars at Indianapolis Raceway Park. After his racing career ended Marvel Sr. worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as their public relations officer.
