1972 Henri Pescarolo Race Used Williams F1 Helmet.
GPA helmets are quite rare helmets and highly sought after. This version is an incredibly rare helmet model called the GPA FP1, featuring a unique push in visor. The historic helmet has been photo matched at key races, including an F2 race at Hockenheim and F1 races in Kyalami (South Africa) and Argentina. It has truly lived in the golden age of Grand Prix racing.
Pescarolo competed in Formula 1 from 1968 to 1974 and again in 1976, earning 57 Grand Prix starts, one podium finish, and one fastest lap.
While his F1 career was notable, Pescarolo is best remembered for his endurance racing legacy. He holds the record for the most entries in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, completing the iconic race 33 times between 1966 and 1999, with four overall victories and six class wins.
His achievements also include major wins in other world-class events such as:
-
24 Hours of Daytona
-
1000 km of Monza
-
1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps
-
6 Hours of Nürburgring
