Beautiful original 8x 10 photo card of Francois Cevert sitting in his Matra MS650 at the 1970 Daytona 24 Hours. Included in this lot is a rare Cevert signature is mounted below the photo.
Cevert was destined to be the F1 next star in 1973 as teammate Jackie Stewart (then 3 time F1 World Champion) was in his last season with the Tyrrell team. Stewart was ready to hand the mantle of number 1 driver to Cevert as the Frenchman had proved over the last few seasons that he was more than capable of matching the Scott on several occasions. Cevert's bright future was tragically cut short but today he remains a fan favourite in F1 history.
