Helmet used by Sprint Car driver Joe Burton. This great-looking period helmet was used by Burton on dirt race tracks around the Indianapolis area in the mid-’60s. Burton was the brother of famous Motorsport artist Ron Burton. The battled scared helmet has a black orange and yellow scalloped design on its white base that was painted by brother Ron. It also so still wears a black peak that has the word 'Hosea!' painted to it and full-face shield visor and as is when Burton last used it.

A great piece of vintage early 1960's Sprint Car memorabilia that would look good amongst any collection.

This helmet comes from the famous Ron Burton Collection. The helmet is one of 170 helmets that were on display at the famous Union Jack Pub in Speedway (Indianapolis) Indiana. Ron Burton is a famous artist who often traded his paintings with drivers for one of their helmets. We are proud to offer this unique collection of many one-of-a-kind helmets and artwork.

The helmet comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
