A vintage page taken from the Swiss/European racing magazine Powerslide*. What makes the page unique is it has been personally signed by one of the true greats, if not the greatest, Formula One driver in the history of the sport, Jim Clark. The 12 x 8-inch page features a black and white portrait image (taken by Benno Muller, circa 1962) of the Scottish driver fastening his racing helmet prior to a race. Clark signed the bottom left of the page in blue ballpoint pen where the back of his hand appears. The impression is a fine, clear and rare example of Jim’s un-rushed signature. The condition of the page is very good for its age, there is however some light staining on the top-right quarter of the page (which can only be seen up close) and some minor creasing as well, but these do not distract from the quality of this fantastic piece. There is text at the bottom of the page that points out the promise the young Scot has shown as the new Lotus number one driver.

*Powerslide was a Swiss international racing magazine that started at the beginning of 1963 and ran through to June 1975 when it changed its name to Motorsport Aktuell. Its final edition was published in 1976.

This is a great opportunity to acquire an excellent, rare signature of the racing legend who many believe to be the greatest F1 driver ever.

The page comes with a full Certificate Of Authenticity.
